"Welche Farbe hat Missbrauch" ist der Titel eines internationalen Kunstprojektes zu dem ich eingeladen wurde. Dabei bearbeiten Künstlerinnen und Künstler der verschiedensten Sparten das Thema Missbrauch.Mein Beitrag werden eine Textfahne und eine Audioinstallation sein. Die Fahne kann man hier schon vorab sehen. Die Installation wird Aufnahmen, in denen ich meine Texte zum Thema vortrage über acht Kanäle an acht verschiedenen Stellen des Ausstellungsraums abspielen. Ich will so nicht den gesamten Raum beschallen, sondern ab und an die Besucher ganz persönlich ansprechen, wenn sie es so nicht erwarten.
Die erste Ausstellung wird ab dem 12.10. in Düren in der Marienkirche und ab dem 28.10. in Köln im Vierscheibenhaus des WDR stattfinden. Weitere Ausstellungen sind jährlich in anderen Ländern geplant.
Bei der Vernissage werde ich auch neben einer anderen Performance live auftreten. Vorbeikommen lohnt sich.

"What Color Is Abuse?" is the title of an international art-project I was invited to join. Artists of diverse genres work about the topic of abuse.My contribution will be a text-flag and an audio-installation. The flag can be previewed here. The installation will play back recordings of myself presenting my texts on the topic on eight tracks in eight different places throughout the room. I do not intend to fill the entire space with sound but adress the visitors from time to time very personally when and in a way they do not expect it.
The first exhibition will be from October 12 in Düren in the Marienkirche (=St. Mary's Church) and from October 28 in Cologne in the Vierscheibenhaus (="four-slice-building") of the WDR. More exhibitions are planned annually in other countries.
During the vernissage I will read live besides another performance. Its well worth coming.
